GAY PEOPLE'S CHRONICLE AUGUST 18, 1995
AIDS HITS HOME.
I have watched dozens of friends die from AIDSrelated complications in the past 14 years. My
experience has been that the poverty associated with HIV infection is an under-reported complication of AIDS. My choice to become an AIDS activist lead me to Nightsweats & T-cells, a local company owned and operated by persons living with HIV. Nightsweats & T-cells provides custom screen printing for AIDS service organizations across the country as well as for AIDS Walk Cleveland. Our goal is simply to give persons with HIV a voice and a chance to earn a living.

Gil Kudrin of Cleveland is the marketing director for Nightsweats & T-cells, a local company that produces and markets its own line of T-shirts with HIV/AIDS messages. The shirt worn by Gil in this photo recently appeared on an episode of ER, produced by Quentin Tarantino.
